Can't sleep.... random quick sketch while I was waiting for my laundry to finish.... extreme insomnia again... and I have morning class >,< ... I remember I had a phase back in high school with angels and I just felt like drawing like that again.... 

Mastercopy.

Mastercopy. An existing environment background and reproduce it with gouache. I chose the digital swamp background from Princess and the Frog. I had to say I like the tonal a lot more. I had a lot of problems getting the right hue and saturation... gotta work on that...

I wanted to do a face and I didn't want to fuck up someone else's face... so I did mine lolll... I really like Benjamin's style... his colours and everything... this is an epic fail in that sense... but mehhhh. It took waaay too long that I lost track... more than I intended anyway.

At least I accomplished learning values through colours... ish. loooool
